On 20 February 2025, Pietro Palandri attended as a speaker at the event  organized by the Propeller Club of Trieste to celebrate the centenary of the 1924 Brussels Convention for the unification of certain rules relating to bills of lading.

In his presentation, on the topic  “The Impact of Autonomous Ships on the Hague-Visby Rules and Other Conventions”, Pietro explored how the rise of autonomous vessels challenges existing maritime regulations, particularly the Hague-Visby Rules and other key conventions governing maritime transport.
